Accord with the D.E.
In its commitment to the public sector, INE achieved a Circular Letter from the Department of Education (D.E.) in 2012 that includes the Montessori credential within the Department's regulations.
In 2014, the Department of Education created the Auxiliary Secretariat of Montessori Education (SAEM). The SAEM has thus achieved better support for the Montessori guide in public schools. In this way, it has constant contact with each school community and can better serve the child who attends public school. Currently, 59 public schools are part of the project.
In 2018, the SAEM is cemented as: Law 277 of December 2018, in order to make accessible and develop Montessori public schools in the Department of Education.
