Enraizando

The environmental program Enraizando supports school environmental initiatives in order to promote contact with nature, the protection and conservation of the environment and the development of sustainable ways of life. Through school gardens, pollinator gardens, butterfly gardens and nurseries, school communities address these issues while providing practical experiences to students.

Nursery

The nursery facilitates the production of plants for the school's garden and pollinator gardens. Students use the nursery as a laboratory to observe the growth and development of plants.

School Garden

The garden is a space where students learn to plant, care for and grow vegetables and medicinal plants. Areas of the Montessori curriculum such as language, cultural studies and mathematics are integrated.

Pollinator Graden

Pollinator gardens are spaces where plants that attract pollinators such as butterflies are planted. These spaces, in addition to beautifying, promote a healthy ecosystem and habitat restoration. Students can observe the butterfly cycle in its natural environment.
