Viviendo Montessori

The levels in Montessori education are different from those we know in traditional schools such as Kindergarten, 1st grade, 6th grade, etc. In Montessori we do not have "grades”, we have levels that respond to the stages of development. Students ages 0-12 spend three years in each level. Each environment has students of three ages that make up its stage of development, for example, 3-6 years old share the Early Childhood environment, 6-9 years old share the Elementary I environment and so on.
