INEsperado Junte Culinario for Montessori Public Schools

In the interest of continuing to strengthen the Montessori public schools project, chefs Ventura Vivoni, Enrique Piñeiro and Leo Mendoza will join forces in a culinary fundraising event on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Luis Muñoz Marín Park.

This event supports the mission of the Instituto Nueva Escuela (INE) to accompany and strengthen the Montessori education project in public schools in the country and thus ensure that more boys and girls have access to this excellent education. 

"INE opens doors to educational alternatives that reflect a genuine interest in nurturing various aspects of knowledge, both for the individual and for the community," said chef Ventura Vivoni about the reason that motivates him to participate in this culinary meeting.

The chefs will prepare a series of menus for the enjoyment of the families that participate in the event. Participants will also be able to enjoy a day out in the welcoming green areas of Luis Muñoz Marín Park in San Juan. Children between the ages of 5 and 10 can have fun with art workshops, recycling and nurseries. There will also be music and the opportunity to enter a raffle to win quality items and/or services.

“The friends of the project who participate in this activity will be contributing so that more boys and girls, more young people in Puerto Rico have access to the public Montessori model. Having lunch together this July 16 is a concrete, simple, generous act that contributes to the enormous task of making better schools for thousands of students on our island”, commented Ana María García Blanco, executive director of INE. 

The activity will take place between 12:00 noon and 4:00 in the afternoon. People interested in participating in the event can buy their plate, participate in the raffle or make a donation through www.inepr.org .
