INE establishes new application process for Montessori Training Courses

The new academic year begins with a new orientation and application process.

As usual, in the months of September to December, the Instituto Nueva Escuela (INE) carries out orientations for Montessori training courses, the first step to take the courses leading to Montessori Certification at different levels.

This year the process changes; people interested in studying at the INE must visit its website, www.inepr.org, to obtain the information that was usually provided in the in-person orientations.

Once the interested person knows and reads all the information regarding the course of interest, they can request admission on the same page.

The application process will be online, and will require the same information as always: personal information, 2x2 photo, two contacts who recommend the candidate, credit transcript in English from the last educational institution where they obtained a degree, and an essay.

Interested persons may apply from November 1 to February 9.

Once the application period closes, the Admissions Committee carries out interviews in which course facilitators and Academy Program staff participate. Once the analysis of the applications and interviews has been completed, the adult student receives their admission letter.

During this process, two virtual coffees will be held that seek to clarify general questions about the courses. These coffees will take place on Saturday, November 18 and Saturday, January 13 at 1:00 pm.

If in the middle of the process, people have specific questions about their process and wish to contact a member of the Academy Program team, they can contact academia@inepr.com.

This year we are looking forward to faculty members from new schools who participated in the orientations offered by the Assistant Secretary of Montessori Education (SAEM). About 7 schools have already enthusiastically started the SAEM entry process.

Many of these schools belong to new municipalities for the project, making the model accessible to more geographic areas of the island.
