The application process for Montessori training courses begins

The Academic Program (PA) of Instituto Nueva Escuela (INE) began its admission process to the Montessori 2025 training courses through the organization's website for the second consecutive year.

Last year, for the first time the PA decided to carry out the admission process in a different way, online, in which people had access 7 days a week to course and application information at www.inepr.org/certificate.

Previously, this process was carried out in person, however the good results of this new method have led to it being carried out for the second consecutive year, starting on October 1 and concluding on January 24, 2025.

Those educators who wish to become certified must complete the following steps:

  1. Go to www.inepr.org/certificate

  2. Carefully read the information on the courses of interest. You will find information such as: course description, process dates, course structure, payment schedule and the application.

  3. Complete and submit the application on or before January 24, 2025

  4. Participate in the interview of candidates for training courses

  5. Wait for the admission response

  6. Participate in the welcome orientation for course admissions

At INE we believe that there are many reasons for an educator to begin this process, with students being the main reason that moves them to become certified.

Part of the process is to complete the admission application, write a two (2) page essay on a computer, as indicated in the course application, send a transcript in English from the last degree conferred, and participate in the interview.

Educators who are certified by INE will receive a certification from the American Montessori Society (AMS), allowing them to practice as Montessori guides in Puerto Rico, the same is recognized in other countries.

INE’s PA is the first service that the organization offered, since in Puerto Rico there was no place that offered Montessori training for teachers, making us to this day the only educational center in the Caribbean to offer all Montessori levels. in Spanish and accredited by MACTE.

People who have questions in the middle of the admission process can participate in “virtual coffees”, on November 7 at 3:00 in the afternoon and on December 7 at 10:00 in the morning.

Likewise, if people want to receive information in their emails about the process and answers to some frequently asked questions, they can subscribe to an email list to have all the information.
